I am a budding UX/UI Designer eager to launch my career in the dynamic design field. However, my passion extends beyond the confines of a traditional role, and I am open to diverse opportunities that align with my skill set.

I chose product design as my career because it allows me to utilize my diverse skill set. My blend of experiences in marketing, animation, visual effects, and design is well-suited for creating products and experiences that genuinely assist people. I am dedicated to making technology more user-centric, channeling my creativity into crafting practical and enjoyable experiences.

My design skills encompass user research, wireframing, and prototyping with software like Figma and Sketch. During my design school experience, I developed a strong understanding of user needs and created user-friendly, intuitive products to solve real problems. I also created designs that are both functional and visually appealing.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and a second Bachelor’s degree in Visual Effects. My experience as a Marketing Analyst in the food industry has given me valuable insights into user behavior and how to develop successful marketing strategies and campaigns. Additionally, my Visual Effects expertise enables me to create aesthetically pleasing and functional designs.

Beyond Design: Exploring Passions and Perspectives

I'm a big believer in the power of travel to broaden our perspectives and inspire us as designers. When I'm not working on design projects, you'll find me planning my next adventure and seeking new experiences. In addition, I'm a movie enthusiast and love analyzing how films use visual storytelling to convey ideas and emotions. At home, I enjoy spending time with my partner and our furry friend, who keeps me centered and remind me of what's essential.

Experience

  • Jun 2021 - Jun 2022

    I worked freelance as a Motion Graphic Designer for Whose Knowledge and Onda Assessoria. I created animations for various projects and was responsible for the entire motion design process, including concept, animation, and sound editing. I strengthened my skills in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop while working with these two companies.

  • Aug 2019 - Aug 2020

    I collaborated with the compositing team to ensure continuity and consistent performance in a movie project. I maintained the overall look, color balance, and quality of shots and sequences to create uniformity. My tasks included rotoscoping (full body articulation, hair detail, garbage mattes), keying (blue/green screen), compositing CG elements into live-action shots, and wire removal and set extension (matte painting).

  • May 2006 - May 2010

    As a Marketing Analyst, I supported the Marketing Strategic Planning Manager in their efforts to design and develop marketing research programs. I conducted detailed analyses with customers, reviewed brand campaigns, and developed international product lines. I also interfaced with product development and launching new initiatives and product categories. Additionally, I prepared sales reports and profit and loss analyses and administered the accounting of funds.

    I completed over 480 hours of UX design coursework, covering user research and strategy, interaction design, prototyping, user testing, and visual design.

  • Aug 2016 - Aug 2020

    I achieved a strong foundation in art in the principles of VFX, such as composition, motion, color, and lighting, and how to use software tools to create VFX and motion design. Additionally, my understanding of the principles of VFX and my experience with complex visuals have been invaluable for my UX Designer role in crafting user-friendly experiences.

  • Fev 2006 - Fev 2010

    Marketing and Sales gave me a thorough grasp of fundamentals, such as branding, market research, customer segmentation, and sales strategies. As a UX designer, this knowledge helps me design user experiences tailored to the target audience. I also gained a basic understanding of digital marketing and advertising, which can benefit UX Designers when creating digital campaigns to promote their designs.
